Happenstance is a trio of musicians that perform a varied repertoire of Folk, Popular and Traditional tunes. The musicians play acoustic guitars, electric bass and harp.  Performances include instrumental as well as vocal selections and have been called fresh and energetic. Their vocal blend is sometimes described as  reminiscent of Peter, Paul and Mary. There is something to delight everyone.

This group will delight you with their beautiful harmony and mastery of their instruments. Their assortment of music is amazing, so no matter what type of music you enjoy you will be glad you came.

After much anticipation, Frank Vardaros, has finally put together a Florida version of his jazz orchestra. The Florida version has been together since Spring of 2008. Frank is known to many as the Trumpeter and Music Director for the Ryles Jazz Orchestra. He founded the band in 1997, keeping in mind the great tradition of a house big band in a major jazz venue (i.e. the Village Vanguard Band, Thad Jones Mel Lewis, and Birdland Dream Band, to name a few). Throughout the year, the band performs with many guests, most recently Arturo Sandoval, Slide Hampton, Bobby Shew, Bob Mintzer, Phil Wilson, Bill Watrous, Jon Faddis and the late Nick Brignola. The band has performed at the Boston Globe Jazz Festival, The Saratoga Springs Jazz Festival, The Newport Jazz Festival, and the JVC Jazz Festival at Carnegie Hall.

Now that Vardaros resides in Florida, he has put together a Florida version of the band, same great charts and high energy, new location. The band features some the best musicians in the central Florida area, and the band is looking forward to bringing the finest in big band jazz to the state of Florida and beyond.

Don’t miss this opportunity to hear this fantastic 16 piece big band in an intimate jazz setting!
